NFL predictions

As August draws to a close I feel that I've studied enough and watched enough preseason action to make my predictions for the division winners, wildcard teams and Superbowl representatives for the 2010 NFL season...

AFC Division Winners: New England, Baltimore, Indianapolis, San Diego

AFC Wildcard Teams: Pittsburgh, Houston

Tennessee and Cincinatti will be the best teams not to make the playoffs, while the AFC West will be a much closer race than most people anticipate.

NFC Division Winners: Dallas, Green Bay, New Orleans, San Francisco

NFC Wildcard Teams: Atlanta, Minnesota

Dallas will emerge from the mediocrity that is the NFC East, but New Orleans and Green Bay will be the alpha dogs of the conference.

Superbowl: Pittsburgh defeats Green Bay as Jerry Jones' envy of the Rooneys approaches meltdown levels.
